Exhibition Run: November 12 to 17, 2018

Last November 12 – 17, 2018 Yuchengco Museum played host to the exhibition World War One – Far From Home presented by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Manila.

World War One – Far From Home is a photographic exhibition depicting the lesser-known stories of the thousands of young men of different nationalities and ethnicities from the United States, China, India, the British West Indies (the Caribbean Basin), Madagascar, Senegal, Algeria, New Zealand, Congo, Tunisia, Canada, Fiji, Australia and Indochina (Southeast Asia) who came to fight in the Belgian (and European) trenches during World War One (1914 – 1918).
