About

Since opening its doors in September 2005, the Yuchengco Museum has been a space for encountering art, culture, and ideas in the heart of Makati.

Founded to house the collection of Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco, the museum reflects his lifelong commitment to art, education, and cultural exchange as a businessman, diplomat, collector, philanthropist, patron of the arts, and advocate for Philippine education and beyond.

For over two decades, it has presented exhibitions and programs spanning Philippine and international art, history, design, and contemporary practice. The Yuchengco Museum is a space for dialogue, education, and exchange — connecting artists, audiences, and communities through changing exhibitions and public programs.

As it marks 20 years, the Yuchengco Museum continues to build on this legacy, looking to the past while making space for new ways of seeing, thinking, and engaging with art.
