Michiko Doll by Rajo Laurel

The Michiko doll is named after the empress of Japan Michiko Shoda.

I used a vintage OBI fabric, which is traditionally used for the sash of a Japanese kimono, and applied it to the Michiko doll by creating an origami like process creating something architectural and modern.
