Published by Eugenio Lopez Foundation, Inc., ©1992.

Published on the occasion of Fernando Amorsolo’s birth centennial, this book focuses on his drawings and sketches, including over 35 works, mostly portraits, nudes, and his infamous countryside scenes. In his introduction, Rod Paras-Perez wrote, “Fernando C. Amorsolo, the first Filipino genre painter given the National Artist award and perhaps – more significantly – the artist ever to rank first in the heart of his country, actually believed, as the traditional classicist painters did, that drawing was the probity of art.”
