Angelito Antonio plus Norma Belleza sum up a painting couple. Sharing studio and home, life and family, they have carved out their individual, painterly styles in the Philippine contemporary art scene. They are inspired by the reality they see and experience, which they translate into colorful expressions. Their compositions are usually crowded with frontally-oriented figures, often disregarding scale and proportion.

Both have received fine arts degrees from the University of Santo Tomas and have gained recognition in prestigious visual art competitions since the 1960s, and have mounted several solo exhibits, and have been featured in group shows as well.
